Katherine Richardson grew up in Northwest Oregon and moved to Southern California for college and to soak up some sunshine. After graduating at the top of her class from California Lutheran University with a degree in Business Accounting. She proceeded to pass the CPA exam with high marks in one sitting, with her highest scores in Tax Accounting. Since then she has worked in both public and private accounting gaining experience in business consulting, tax and audit divisions for companies ranging in size from small "mom and pop startups" to international corporations. Katherine has extensive background in the fields of healthcare, entertainment, government, not-for-profits, textile production and construction but has used the fundamentals from those industries to serve a wide variety of other clients.

Katherine is a devoted mother of two children. In her spare time she enjoys coaching track and field, volunteering at Church of the Woods, playing golf and tennis, hiking, camping, ATV riding, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family.
